Water runs dry

I don't know how to feel. Can't help having all this pain inside me, you had all my love and heart for so long and now that I'm trying to love and give my heart to someone else, you appear. How can you have such a power in me?? With a memory, a picture, a word you can break my heart again, bring tears to my eyes, that helpless feeling that keeps haunting me everytime I remember for a split second an instant spent with you. It's not fair. Everytime I feel like if I'm finally getting over this situation, something you make reminds me I'm still hurt, that my bruises aren't totally healed.

I wish you didn't hurt this much.

Even though I'm feeling this way, be sure I'll find my way out of this. I might be slow, but there is a loving hand that is keeping me from falling now. I'm a survivor.
